The film “Black Panther” by Marvel Studios is a phenomenal piece of film making. The
movie is not just a regular old movie, it is a movie that expresses the importance of Black African Americans, people with black ancestry, and all the black people in the world, and how they can be leaders too. In the movie Black Panther, Marvel has shown that all main, and supporting characters can be black in a major film.
Most films that have a superhero, a hero, or a leader, use a white actor/actress, and not any other person of a different race. Asians, Hispanics, or any race other than white do not get as much spotlight as a white actor/actress does. We live in a time where change can be good, or it can be bad, but change is possible in our current day and age. We can make a change that makes people of all races achieve the roll of a main character in major films
Most major films are lead by a white male

actor, and sometimes a white female actress, butno where do you see a Black, Asian, o r Spanish actor that carries the lead role. I may be talking about these three but there are many more races that apply to this as well and are equally important.
February is Black History Month and that was the month when Black Panther was released. This boosts Marvel’s message even farther. Because the movie features black actors and actresses, it brings one more side of the world to feel strong, like a leader. It was as if Marvel planned every little detail out to deliver this massive, powerful message.
Marvel are one of the companies that produces movies for everyone. What I mean by everyone is that everyone likes Marvel movies regardless and Marvel does not get commented on their films being discriminating. Since there have been arguments about discriminating black people, Marvel makes a film where is only black people, with a few exceptions. Take T’Challa for example, he is the king of Wakanda, a leader.

In the Marvel universe, there is a fictional kingdom called “Wakanda” that holds the strongest substance in the world, “Vibranium”. The continent, Africa, has been stripped of its resources, but not in Wakanda. In Wakanda, their population is only made up of Africans. They have next generation technology including hover bikes, cloaking shields at a massive scale, and a. out of this world medical system. This shows that black people have the same and more intelligence than some people of another race.
The movie Black Panther has taught me a lot about cultures. It taught me that everybody has their own special things that are close them, and that it should be respected. It also taught me that anyone can be powerful with powerful things, but it takes real strength to be powerful without anything. We have all these things such as weapons, money, and resources, but what would we all be with nothing? Some countries in the world do not have any of this, but they are still surviving. The amount if different resources one has can change their life and culture. Our culture had been changed as well. With the new development in technologies our lifestyles have drastically changed, but we should share all these things with the rest of the world.
Overall, I think that the world and I have learned a lot from the movie Black Panther. From discrimination, roles in society, to being a good person of society, and to be a leader, whatever nationality you are.
