My name is Dylan Chu and I currently attend Chaminade College school as a STEM student. My education has always been a great part of my life, along with my family and friends. I chose Chaminade as my high school because of various reasons such as, their STEM program, many school achievements, and my brother is a student there aswell. I ended up passing the STEM test and made it into Stem, which is where I made most of my friends along with the grade 9 trip to Camp Manitou.

     When it comes to my studies, I really enjoy Mathematics, and my Instrumental music courses. I realized that I grew a liking to math in about grade 7. I noticed that I was good at math and I enjoyed it whenever I learned something new. I've always liked music class since I got into grade 5 where I was about to learned how to play the recorder. At first I didn't see the point of it, but later on I learned more and I absolutely loved it. As a young child I played a lot of guitar hero on the Wii, which I think has something to do with what I enjoy now.

     My hobbies that I've taken up are playing the guitar and video gaming. Playing the guitar has become a sudden interest in me back in the month of June, 2017. In grades 6-8 I played the drums for the school band and instrumental music, but then I started to play the ukulele, cause that was pretty much all I had. Later on I got my first guitar which was an acoustic guitar. A few months later I asked my parents for a electric guitar because I thought I could go to the next level. I proved to my parents that I deserve an electric guitar and I ended up getting one.
